The Mustang Trek is a journey through Nepal's hidden valleys of Upper Mustang. It is worth noting that it is situated between Tibet and the Himalayas, making it distinct from the rest of the world. Until the 1830s, the walled city of Lomanthang was part of the Tibetan kingdom of Gungthang. The first Lomanthang story is embellished with myths and legends rather than recorded events. Even though the upper part of the Mustang is changing, it continues to astound visitors with its breathtaking views and tenacity in preserving its unique culture. Lo Mangthang has about 275 houses and four castes. The royal caste, commoners, blacksmiths, butchers, and millers Today, solar energy powers the entire town of Lo Manthang. Small decorative grass garden with holy decorations, Mani stones, and, of course, stacked wood.

The Upper Mustangs trek in Nepal was officially opened in 1992. The Mustang Road traverses the legendary forbidden kingdom's vast and arid valleys, eroded canyons, and yak caravans. Furthermore, mud brick houses painted in vibrant colors are located near the majestic Nilgiri, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri mountains. Surprisingly, even during Nepal's monsoon season, this Upper Mustang trekking is one of the best. As a result, it is located in the rain shadow, north of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains, and is completely protected from the monsoon. The best part about this cultural trek during the monsoon season is that the city is bustling with locals going about their daily lives. Furthermore, the entire region is in bloom, creating a stunning contrast with the wind-eroded hills, red cliffs, and snowy mountains in the background. As a result, the trip up the Mustang is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the fascinating medieval fortified kingdom of Lo Manthang.
